U-23 Team Announced – Former Turnstone Flyer Made the Team

Today, 12 of the top wheelchair basketball athletes (ages 23 and under) were named to the 2009 USA Junior National Team. Included on this team is Jarad Arambula – former Turnstone Flyers and current University of Alabama wheelchair basketball player.

The 09′ USA Junior National Team is coach by Jim Glatsch  and will be joined by assistant coaches Miles Thompson and David Kiley.

Both Jared Arambula and Nate Hinz bring their international Gold experience from when they played on the 2007 USA U-20 Junior Team. Above team picture also includes...Ben Kenyon, Hassan Elkadi, John Boie, Mark Booth, Jacob Goforth, Josh Swoverland, Dan Henson, D.J. Murray, and Kyle Killworth. Head Coach: Dan Price. Assistant Coaches: Bob Burnsworth and Jacob Counts. Not included in picture - Dylan Levine - selected for the team, but was forced out by a training injury.
