The USA men’s sled hockey team will compete in the 2009 International Paralympic Committee Ice Sledge Hockey World Championship, set for May 9-16, 2009 in Ostrava, Czech Republic. The US will look to build upon its bronze-medal finish at the event in 2008.

The 2009 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championship will feature competition among Canada, the Czech Republic, Germany, Japan, Italy, Korea, Norway and the United States.

- Starting Goalie #67 Steven Cash … must continue to dominate behind the pipes. He single-handedly gives Team USA the opportunity to be competitive in each and every game they play.
- Defensemen #4 Jimmy Connelly is considered one of the top D-men in the world.
- Team Captain #9 Andy Yohe and assistant captain #26 Taylor Chace… Both are physical forwards who bring energy to each shift.
