Defending Paralympic Gold Medalist, Australia, Gives USA 1st Lost at BT World Cup 2009

After wining their first two games over Great Britain and Germany, the USA Mens Junior National wheelchair basketball team lost today to the defending Paralympic gold medalist, Australia 70-58 at the 09′ BT Paralympic World Cup in Manchester, England.

Local nugget: Former Turnstone Flyer, Jared Arambula finished 4th on the team with 8 points; 1 offensive rebound; 1 steal; and 1 assist in 11:13 minutes.

Team USA will play Germany Friday afternoon in the semi-final round as the #2 seed.
