Yesterday the United States Men’s wheelchair basketball team cruised along to defeat Colombia 79-30 in the Quarterfinals at the 09′ Americas Cup in Richmond, BC (Western Canada). Team USA will face Mexico Today (Friday, August 28 2009) at 10:00pm EDT. In the other Semifinal match Canada will face off vs Brazil at 8:00pm EDT.

The Americans Cup is featuring the top 8 teams in North & South America with the top three teams receiving bids for the World Championships – July 2010 in Birmingham, England. All games are played at the Richmond Olympic Oval .
