In the Championship Game of the American’s Cup up in Western Canada (Richmond, British Columbia) the United States rolled over Canada 79-69 to win their 6 straight game at the Richmond Olympic Oval .

Canada was up 41-34 at the half. Team USA made some adjustments and cut the lead at the end of the 3rd quarter to 54-52. USA went on a 27-15 run to close out the game and win 79-69.
Interesting Nugget: 63 of team USA points came from non starters.
Jason Nelms for Team USA was named MVP. Nelms finished with 18 points …. two big 3′s. The first three pointer came at the last second of the 3rd quarter. Then on the first position in the 4th quarter, Nelms hit his second three pointer off a set play that gave USA it’s first lead.
